Pressure Dense Phase (Continuous)

Theory

Dense Phase Rotary Valve Continuous Pressure Dense Phase Conveying Systems using High Pressure Rotary Valves are a recent innovation to the field of pneumatic convey systems.

These systems are similar to conventional lean phase pressure convey systems but use high pressure compressed air to move the powder, and material velocities are much lower.

Control systems frequently use variable airflow and pressure regulators to optimise the system parameters.

As these systems operate on a continuous basis - product is constantly supplied at the starting point, and arriving at the destination without interruption - this makes them suitable for dosing and continuous weighing applications.

Applications

These systems convey materials at moderate capacities over medium to high distances, from single or multiple points to multiple destinations. The lower convey velocities allow for conveying of friable powders and other materials which may be damaged by conventional systems.
