Principal Of Operation
The Nu-Con range of Automatic Air Valves is designed for application in association with pneumatic conveying systems. The 3-way variety can be used as airflow control valves, diverting airflow from one source to either one of two different destinations. It can also be used on filter units to cycle reverse air to filter socks. The 2-way valve is used as a bypass valve for positive shut off of secondary airlines. Both valves can be employed to provide in-line vacuum relief, maintaining safe operation conditions for blowers and filter housings.
- Available in standard sizes ranging from 50 to 100mm diameter (2 inch to 4 inch). Special sizes can be provided if required.
- Valve can be installed in any position.
- Nu-Con's special compression connection fittings provide an airtight connection as well as saving valuable installation time.
- Constructed from rugged, cast aluminium and sealed by a rubber disc moulded to a steel core.
