Custom Built Rotary Valves to suit Client’s Requirements
GEA Nu-Con in Australia has recognised that when a Rotary Valve wears out it is not always possible for Client’s to replace existing Rotary Valves with a new Rotary Valve from the available range.
A Client approached GEA Nu-Con to replace a very small 316 stainless steel Rotary Valve, only 171mm high with a round inlet and a rectangular outlet driven by a direct drive through an existing building wall.
Clearly no other valve would fit the request, so a new Custom Built Valve was built as shown below:

Since this first Custom Valve, GEA Nu-Con in Australia has now built 52 different Valve Models and Sizes to suit Customers particular space constraints.
A Photo and a couple of key dimensions of the existing Rotary Valve, allows our team to make an identical one for them, so it fits in the same space with no flange or transition changes needed on-site.
Our latest Custom Valve is a large 0.12m3 Swept Volume capacity in an available head height of only 560mm as shown below.
Usually once the replacement is installed on-site, often our Client then sends back the original valve to be overhauled and reconditioned.
This is another great example of GEA Nu-Con listening to the customer and applying GEA-versity to satisfy our Client’s needs.
